The Hotel Stetteneck in Ortisei

The hotel has had a chequered history; the building started life in 1913, housing the Post Office, apartments, and a sausage factory and butcher's shop. The Hotel Stetteneck participates in the Val Gardena Active scheme, enabling guests to take advantage of a range of activities, including guided walks, Nordic walking, guided mountain bike tours, climbing courses, sunrise tours and yoga.

The Hotel Stetteneck is an ideal choice for year-round interest. During the summer visitors can enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery, and in winter Ortisei offers a range ! of winte r sports - a ski school is located next to the hotel, and lessons can be booked directly from the hotel reception.

The town of Ortesei also has many attractions, including a museum, wood-carving workshops, and a variety of shops. Two cable cars are available to transport visitor over 7500 feet for panoramic views across the region.

The hotel is conveniently located on the Piazza of Ortisei in the centre of town, and the area has excellent national and international transport links, with several airports within a reasonable distance of Ortisei - transfers can be arranged from Milano / Bergamo and Verona / Brescia airports.
